Answer:
We are kharijee
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 6.578 Narrated by Abu Said Al Khudri
I heard Allah's Messenger (saws) saying, "There will appear some people among you whose prayer will make you look down upon yours, and whose fasting will make you look down upon yours, but they will recite the Qur'an which will not exceed their throats (they will not act on it), and they will go out of Islam (Khaarij) as an arrow goes out through the game whereupon the archer would examine the arrowhead but see nothing, and look at the un-feathered arrow but see nothing, and look at the arrow feathers but see nothing, and finally he suspects to find something in the lower part of the arrow!"
The above statement of the Messenger of Allah (saws) is regarding the characteristics of the evil ‘Kharijites’…..
Your Question: A friend of mine told me that you are a Khaarijee…… Can you please make your position clear ragarding this.
What do you expect us to say regarding the accusation of your friend who thinks or believes that we are amongst those evil ‘Kharijees’ as prophesized by the Messenger of Allah (saws)??
All we can say brother is that may Allah Subhanah have Mercy on your friend and on us, and if Allah forbid, anything we have said, done, or written anything which would enthuse someone to accuse us of such an abomination of being amongst the ‘Kharijees’, we seek the forgiveness of our Lord Most Merciful from even approaching the path of the ‘Kharijees’.
Beloved brother, the onus of providing the proof and evidence is always on the person or people who make the accusation…..and instead of asking us to make our position clear, it would be only prudent to ask your friend who thinks of us as ‘Kharijees’ to provide his evidence……
All we can say in our defense is may the curse of Allah Subhanah be upon the evil ‘Kharijees’ who will appear in the Ummah of Muslims as prophesized by the Noble Messenger of Allah (saws); and we seek the refuge in our Lord Most Gracious from the ‘fitnah’ and the trial that the evil ‘Kharijees’ will bring in the Ummah.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
