In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Your Statement: ….my father however says that if a boy borns to a man then Allah has indeed blessed him, he quote from Quran that Allah will give you sustenance and sons.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 42 Surah Shura verses 49-50:
49 To Allah belongs the Dominion of the heavens and the earth. He creates what He Wills. He bestows (children) male or female according to His Will.
50 Or He bestows both males and females, and He leaves barren whom He Wills: for He is Full of Knowledge and Power.
Dear and beloved brother in Islam, believe and know with absolute and total conviction that it is Allah Subhanah Alone Who Decides and Decrees what to bestow on whom, only as a means of a trial in the life of this world. As regards the gift of off-springs in this world, Allah Subhanah Declares that he bestows male off-spring to whom He Wills, female off-springs to whom He Wills, both male and female to Whom He Wills, and leaves barren and childless whom He Wills!
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 8 Surah Anfaal verse 28:
28 And know ye that your possessions and your progeny (off-spring) are but a trial; and that it is Allah with whom lies your highest reward.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 64 Surah Taghabun verses 14-15:
14 O ye who believe! Truly amongst your wives and your children are (some that are) enemies to yourselves: so beware of them! But if ye forgive and overlook and cover up (their faults) verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.
15 Your riches and your children may be but a trial: but in the Presence of Allah is the highest Reward.
Your Statement (Again): ….my father however says that if a boy borns to a man then Allah has indeed blessed him
Dear and beloved brother in Islam, if one holds a belief that only the birth of a male off-spring is a sign that one is blessed by Allah Subhanah, then one should know that the one being who was most blessed by Allah Subhanah, the Last and Final Messenger of Allah, Prophet Mohamed (saws) was survived only by his female off-spring!

It is not the mere having of children (male or female) which will benefit aught to its parents; for if the parents do not love, cherish, and strive to develop their children into pious believers, these children will become a trial and burden for their parents in this life and the next….but if the parents love, cherish and strive to develop their children into good believers, their pious children will become a blessing for them not only in the life of this world, but also in the next, Insha Allah.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
