Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:
Asalam-aylaykom

Thanks a lot.

Answer:
Who pays finances the site forum
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Respected brother, if truth be told, the maintenance of this humble site costs only a few hundred dollars a year….and the brother who initiated and moderates this humble forum insists on bearing the nominal cost related in operating this forum in the hope that the Lord Most Gracious Most Merciful will accept his striving.
We absolutely assure you that every brother and sister who helps in the running of this humble website, including the various scholars who formulate the replies, and myself who merely writes the replies formulated by the scholars…..absolutely none amongst us get or even aspire to get any material or worldly reward for our humble contributions. Our one and only aim and mission in volunteering our time and our efforts in operating this humble website is to propagate the Truth of Islam to all who are willing to listen to good caution from the Quran and the Sunnah.
If our humble and modest efforts have helped even one brother or sister get closer to Allah and His Deen of Truth, then we would consider ourselves indeed fortunate to have been given this opportunity by the Lord Most Merciful to serve in His Cause.
Allah is our witness brother, we neither seek any fame, nor recognition, nor any material or worldly benefit whatsoever for our humble efforts….our only hope and ardent prayer is that our Lord Most Gracious Most Merciful accepts our weak and humble efforts in His Cause, forgives us our severe and several shortcomings, and bestows upon us the ‘tawfeeq’ to continue this modest work until the day when our souls are inevitably recalled unto His Majestic Presence.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
